I realize this is well after the need, but having neither the means or space to cut my own game, I have tried all the usuall outlets in the past. One day I'll graduate to owning my own place. Anyhow I used Johnstons meats in Chilliwack to do my doe earlier in December, and I must comment on how impressed I was(I even got a tour of the shop). The pepperoni was second to none, and I cannot complement them enough on the packaging. Cost was comparible, but really, if your a hunter you have to factor that in when you buy a tag. Anyhow, they are on the Vedder rd. across from the pub, south of hwy #1. Unfortunately they are only able to take meat during reg. working hours. Hope this helps out.
