Mist nets are used to tag small song birds. They hit the net, and then fall into pockets and are tangled up, tagged, marked with a band(like ducks/geese) and released.
Basically its for birders, very hard to get the permits but very interested if you ever get the chance. I've done both the markings and surveys for marked birds.
This guy is just a spammer looking to sell more nets.
