BC's Prosperity Mine Decision
How does Tasekos Prosperity Mine decision effect you? Would you have liked to have seen the mine go through at this time? Or were you opposed? .. and now happy about the decision? It is interesting to see environmental standpoints overtake a mining companys efforts to mine.
The issue, as I understand came down to tailings. Tasekos intent was to backfill Fish Lk with the tailings. In a totally unrelated topic: Has anyone heard the TRUTH about how many sheep have died at Teck's coal mines so far this year?? Not that anyone could know the truth. There are so many cover ups, and 'burry em deep' mentalities at work. Nitrate poison is devistating.
