Facet joint injections
Sitting here feeling like I have been kicked in the spine by a large mule!
I had the first series of facet joint injections today in the hope it will take away some of the pain in my lower back caused by severe arthritis resulting from an old injury. The Doctor did say the muscles around my spine may experience "some" swelling and pain for the first day or two from being pierced repeatably by the needles but he did say I should get some decent relief in 3 or 4 days. Anyone here go through this procedure? If so were the results worth it?

Can't offer any help
But hope you can get some relief, buddy of mine had to get shots for his back so that he would be able to go hunting last season, seemed to help him quite a bit, did a bunch of hiking and he did actually push himself harder than he should, but the shots must have done some good.

I have the same in my lower back but obvoiusly not to your extent
havent had to get shots but it flares up now and then Stick in there bud
