I wonder what, if anything Gordon Campbell's resignation has to do with the
Taseko Prosperity Mine decision?? Campbell was all for it, but it was struck out at the federal level.

It was all just another Gordo lie ................

"We will not sell BC Rail ...................."

"We are not looking at implementing a HST ............."

"The Olympics will provide economic prosperity for all of BC .............. "

"We will improve government services ................."

and just last week: "I refuse to quit ..................... "

Hard to say if that was the straw that broke the camels back, but it likely will have hurt his pocket book..

I hope for the sake of the Island that the feds also prevent the proposed Raven Underground Coal Mine Project.

The jerk just can't keep from lying!!

CBC News - British Columbia - B.C. suspends 15% income tax cut

Carrot and stick, give and take away, call it what you will but most of us learned these sort of actions are wrong by the time we were 3 years old.

Perhaps they figured out they will save that carrot till a future date, closer to the election. The Liberals will need to give out a lot of carrots at that point!

Too bad the Liberal party itself, wasn't responsible for the cost of his failed TV advertisement, rather than taxpayers. After all it was simply a campaign speech.
Like most campaign speeches, he promised something, then took it back later..
