Gun Smith

Hello

Was wondering if any body knows if Ziggy is still doing any gunsmithing from his home, heard he was but dont know how to get hold of him.

If not is there any body else that can do a ruger trigger in Prince George?

Thanks
Larry

Save yourself a lot of grief and send it up to Corlane in Dawson Creek. The boys there will give you an ACCURATE quote and will have the work done WHEN THEY SAY it will be done. Ive had to many bad experiences with PG smiths to mess with them anymore.

Well I just went ahead and did the trigger myself.

Went from 6 1/2 pounds to 4 1/2 pounds and no creep so am happy but will do it again in the morning. want to bring down to 2 3/4 pounds same as my 338.

It was not that hard, I got the instructions off the internet.
Will let you know how it is when finished.

Well went ahead and took the trigger down some more.Sitting at 2.5 - 2.75 pounds and clean. the last bit brought it down fast. By the time I polish up I had gone just under 2.75 pounds. Feels good.

Glad to hear it worked out. A trigger isnt that difficult to do Take your time, be careful and have patience. Its better to go not quite far enough than to far cause then your screwed. I have an old 1873 Whitney Arms 44-40 lever I was giving and had to promise not to sell. So what the hell Im gonna shoot it. Beautiful condition but it had about a 20lb trigger. I didnt want to take a chance and pooch it myself so I sent it up to Corlanes. For $75.00 they took it to a nice crisp 4lbs. Its going to be my bunny, grouse and dumb deer that steps out to close gun.
