gutting after dark

What do recommend for gutting after dark for light if you are in the bush a ways. I have a quad but was wondering if they throw enough light or do you use something else? Spotlights or Coleman's. Thanks for any advice.

A headlight for your head works well, leaves hands free and casts no shadows. Also very compact as are the little ones for a hat brim.

Once you have done it enough times, you can pretty much do it by "feel"

We use small headlamps with LED lights [Tikka Plus], don't forget to have your buddy keep watch as night is when the predators get real brave...have you ever heard the whoof of a bear close by after dark when you just split the skin on your deer?? If not, you haven't lived yet!!
