Speaking of knives, what do you use for a fillet knive Steven. I've got a 8" Buck fillet knife that's okay. I cut a lot of fish in the summer/fall and would like to pick up something solid - any suggestions? Kershaw?

Maybe have a look at Havalon Piranta there add says there new blades are stronger which is the only thing I used to find bad with scalple blades, having them snap where theyconnect to the handle I would usally just wrap a piece of tape there.

It was taken and copied directly from a KofA blade a buddy of mine had.

I have made fillets before but the real thin steel needed is a pain in the ass to work with so I don't anymore
