Scope rails and mounts

Hi all, I recently bought myself a new rifle in 30-06 which came with scope rails already fitted. The retailer had a vcery limited stock of scope mounts so I ended up buying a set of Nikko Sterlings - not my best move!

I'll spare you from the story of how my scope fell off the rifle at the range - twice, especially as there is some degree of operator error involved, but once something fails, I tend to loose confidence in it, and some of the places I go, loosing confidence in one's rifle isn't an option!

So, I bought myself a set of leopold rails and mounts - it's the frst time I've used them and as such can report that they were a delight to fit and having shot the rifle at the range a couple of times since, can report that they are stable and solid - excellent in fact!

Hope this helps folks!

Cheers

Roo
