Question who has had a rhino liner done

And where did you have to go to have it done?
I want to take the plastic liner out to put in a fifth wheel hitch and so figure I need a spray in liner.

Partsman:

I've had a couple of my vehicles in my fleet done with the Rhino Liner.

The place I got it done was at the bottom of the Third Street hill in North Van. Just east of the old Bull Pen, I'm you know what I'm talking about there

Cost off the top of my head for a 8 foot box will run you around $500.00, plus you can get any colour to match your truck which is nice.

Them plastic ones are a joke, I don't know why people get them put in when they buy a truck as under it, you get water which will casuse rust down the road plus they move around and scuff you box worse then if you didnt have one in there.

Hope this helps you out!

I had a Rhino liner sprayed into my 05 dodge 3500 a year ago, it cost about 500.00. It was done in north van. near the old park & tilford gardens and took about 4 hrs. They also had to take off and install my box mounted boat rack to do the job. my truck box is heavily used, and seems to be standing up to a lot of punishment. I have noticed one spot about the size of a nickel that has come off... but it is on the tailgate and I probably caused it. Rhino Liner -604 986 8262

Thumbs up

Thanks, appears to be the way to go, especially as I need to install a fifth wheel hitch, and they won't do it with a liner.

Actually talked to the dealer on the truck I am trying for and they say 200.00 to fix the A/C, I fired off an e-mail that it needs to be fixed before any sale will happen.

Had it done to my '06 Dodge, 200 extra for the color match. Great product from what I can tell.

I just did my own, I used the duplicolour from can. tire. It took about 4 hours with sanding, washing, degreasing and all the prep. It turned out real nice. Looks professional if I don't say so myself. Cost about $200. It was not that hard of a job to do. Full size F350 long box, took 1 1/2 cans of stuff.

I saw a show on Discovery Channell where they spayed Rhino in a truck box and blew it up along with an unsprayed truck. The unsprayed truck was completely destroyed and the Rhino truck pretty much disapeared EXCEPT for the box. They also sprayed it inside and out on a cinder block building and set off a HUGE car bomb 10 feet away and it held together. The untreated one was flattened.I`m sure as hell convinced. If I ever get a truck worth more than 500$ I`m gonna get the whole damn thing sprayed
