Wild Life (and a fight nobody won)

Had these sent by a good friend. I don't believe it to be a repost but ignore if that's the case.

Here's the set-up:

A friend was visiting a friend in Montana and
touring through Glacier National Park. They were hiking up a CLOSED
ROAD when they came upon this scene. It is evident that the mountain
lion and bighorn sheep were fighting on the mountain and fell to their
immediate death sometime during the struggle. Pay special attention to
the mouth of the mountain lion.....as it still has sheep hide in its
mouth

The cliff.

The scene.

The aftermath.

Thats a big chunk of fur in the cougs mouth. What a weird feeling that would have been to come across that sight.

How do we know that the sheep wasnt hit on the hiway then the cougar met the same fate while trying to drag his find off the road? The other way makes a way better story though..
