Just getting back into bow hunting and archery in general after about 10 yrs of not shooting a bow.. Looking for bc bow hunters specifically on Vancouver Island to get out with in the 2006 season.

I'm just going to be picking up a bow for the first time ever this upcoming season...So I'm not sure how good of a partner I'll be. Plus I'm on the opposite side of the province from you, tucked into the Kootenays, but we could work something out, roadtrips are always fun.

BC bowhunters

I don't know what you guy's shoot but The Traditional Bow Hunters Of British Columbia have a great group of members in both your guy's area's Do a search for them on the web. The club site has a forum which is a great place to meet fellow shooters. Some one on this site will probaly chime in as well. Also check out some 3d shoots in your area's, another great way to meet fellow shooters.

I know of the club, one of my best buddie's dads used to be the chairman. I'm not sure I want to get involved in that sort of thing quite yet, but more so get a handle on hitting the 20 yard board consistantly...

Trigger, your in a sweet spot I loved hunting Rossland last year. You gonna be shooting the 3-D matches this year? I might be heading down to the one in trail.

I would have to agree, I love the area I call home. I would like to get into the shoots eventually, but for now I need to buy a bow and start getting good. I've shot target before but never really have gotten serious. I want to get into it for the extended seasons and the overall challenge. Can't complain with an extra 20 days after rifle season right? Now I just need to get my hands on a bow...
