Best glue

Hey guys, what is the best glue for glueing inserts into carbons. I have tried a glue stick but sometimes the glue doesn't keep the insert secure. How about 5 min epoxy.

If you are going to use epoxy use the overnight stuff, the 5min stuff does not work that well at all. I have switched from epoxy to low temp hot melt glue, works well for me. (only lost one insert this year, compared to the usual 6 or 7)

If you are having problems with the inserts coming out, they might not be the right size for your carbons. Then should fit slightly snug with no glue, if they are moving around at all, then they are too small.

I like the epoxy too, also be sure to clean out the inside of the shaft before you put the glue and insert in. Sometimes it seems like there is some sort of release agent or something on the inside surfaces of the shaft. i have good luck with Game Trackers carbon arrows archery epoxy.

Powerbond has always worked well for me, you should be able to get it at most archery shops.

I've had luck with fletch tite. I just clean the inside of the shaft of the arrow with a isoproply alcohol. If you want to use the epoxy I second the 24 hour stuff.
