I have contemplated this but never gone ahead. Seems like it would be an interesting thing to do but what do you do with a 10 pound carp?

There's a few places in the Okanagan that you could get enough carp to fill your basement sometimes. I guess that would be called wall-to-wall carp-eting.

I used a speargun on carp in my younger days. I brought them home and buried them in the garden and the skunks dug them up. Sweet Jesus that stunk.

mmm its great fun, buddy and i each take a canoe and see how many we can spear before we get sun burned. biggest one from our local hole has been 15lbs.

my gramps has a boat on ok lake up in naramata, so where gonna built a shooting platform and head out after dark. just trying to figure out where on the lake other than the canal to go. the flats in naramata gets a few but not loads.

anyone know of a spot?

I've done it, out on the flats by kamloops lake, every spring when they are in for breeding. Good fun.
