I hate cows !!!!
Got on a nice little Bull Elk this morning at daybreak, and had him comin in to some of my sexiest cow chirps.He hung up at around 72 yards on the range finder and I wasnt really prepared to take him at that distance and wanted him in to at least 50.
Then to my surprise.......MOOOOOOOOO........ Out comes a large cow which scared the crap outta this bull and off he trotted to join the rest of his crew in the safety of Cypress Hills Park! When she saw me it was "well what the hell are you doin here?" and she also vanished.  About an hour later I was stalkin through a treed draw that I was hopin would hold some deer when I spotted six mule deer comin my way.I set up on a path that would have brought them to within 35 yards.I wasnt gonna be picky as I have a doe tag and was hopin to score on one of the nice fat ones or even the little fork that was with them. At around 80 yards they stopped to do a survey and.................. Yes you guessed it......MOOOOOOOOOOO Again out comes a small gathering of cattle that scared off my intended fresh backstrap dinner and then just decided to bed down right where the deer had been feeding. I scouted around and searched a few other likely places and put a couple miles on the boots with no avail so now I am at home drowning my sorrows with a nice glass of iced bourbon and munching on taco chips!! I HATE COWS !! except next to my potatoes

Wild horses fall into the same category for me, although, they have shown me that another animal was there a couple of times. And I've had cows spook the crap out of me and make me question my eyeballs ability a couple of times, too. I damned near shot the one out of general principle, resonably thick undergrowth on the side of an old logging road north of Howes lake, standing stock still, I got to about 6 yds from it when it spooked, so did I.
