Brent.....once you have been outside for a while are you placing the aluminum arrow shafts in your WARM vehicle???? if so they are probably getting condensation on them, then you go back out into subfreezing temps and they get iced up.
Or perhaps the arrow are stored overnight in a cold garage then taken into a warm vehicle.? Same affect. As for some sort of spray, I would ask an expert on what could be used....I would think a silicone based product would be OK??? Paul |

Carbon arrows kept in the garage and then into my vehicle. Maybe I'll try to keep them in the back of the truck so they don't warm up.
Thanks BT

Brent, wipe your arrows with silicone but dont spray it on, it will add a lot of weight to the arrow, we also rub them with candle wax if it is really bad out. just very lightly.
glad to see your really enjoying the bow hunt!!!. pretty soon the rifle wont even leave the cabinet

Well, I hunted side by side with Calvin today and while my arrows never iced up my bowstring and peep kept icing up. Calvin's did not. I guess I'm just a humid kind of guy
. That or I start huffing and puffing with every deer I see .BT
