Need advice quick

Considering getting into the archery stuff. Looking at a PSE Compound bow set on ebay right now. Are they any good as a starter set. Don't want to lay out a lot of $$ til I see if I like it. Set comes with arrows and accessories:

From the ad:

THIS PSE HAS A 29" DRAW LENGTH, WEIGHT RANGE IS 55-70, THE PERSON I BOUGHT IT FROM TOLD ME IT WAS 65#. IT SAYS 669 FAST-CAM CABLE AND 2862 FAST-CAM STRING. IT SAYS HANDCRAFTED WITH PRIDE ENTIRELY IN THE USA. THIS IS PSE ELITE SERIES GRAPHITE JET FLIGHT EXPRESS

THIS LOT COMES WITH 12 ARROWS WITH POINTS.THERE ARE ALSO SOME WITHOUT POINTS AND OR FEATHERS. MANY ARE INTACT. SOME ARE EASTON , SOME ARE BEMAN.

THERE IS ALSO A LEATHER ACCESSORY HOLSTER WITH ARM GUARDS AND OTHER ITEMS IN IT. THERE IS ALSO A RELEASE TRIGGER THAT I DIDN'T TAKE A PICTURE OF. THIS LOOKS NEW. IT SAYS TRUE FIRE CRACKSHOT.

Anyway auction over in a couple hours, what do you guys think for a starter set???
Thanks

Put a link to the bid up, or PM me it. I'm not interested in buying a new bow, but can look at it, at bid price and give you my opinion.

Pse

I have a PSE Thunderbolt and for the money have been happy with it. If your going to be putting out some dollars for bow equipment I would highly recommend going to a bow shop and shooting some bows to see what feels good for you. Draw length is extemely important and can be difficult to measure and you don't want to end up with a bow that isn't matched to you. Draw lengths are usually adjustable but within certain ranges I know that some PSE's require a change to the cam module. I've watched for bows on ebay for several years (for my kids) and have found that if you miss out on one good deal, sure enough in a couple of weeks there will be another one. Good luck!

Well apparently you have a new wannabee bow hunter in your midst

New to me Toy

I figure its enough to get a feel for things til next fall, arrows n stuff no hell, which is probably great to practise with LOL I have not shot a bow since summer camp back in the late 70's and that was just a very plain longbow with most likely nothing over a 40 pound draw. Thanks for the tips guys. Final price $77 US and I have just sold some junk on feebay so I guess my paypal account (personal slush fund) will get used up LOL
