New toy!!!

Well after 3 shoulder surgerys and a couple years off I finally felt that I would be able to step back into the world of archery again. I spent a good 15 years shooting and it was a huge part of my life, but after my operations I never thought I would get back into it. Well after heading down to see Ron Boormans shop to see how he was doing (I heared through the grape vine he was not well, fortunatly he is) I picked up a little jem hanging on the back wall and shot it for a while. Well the while turned into 100 arrows, and my shoulder felt great!!!
Well this bow is Identical to one that I owned about 10 years ago and could not resist, much to the shigrin of my wife.

Its a 52" cascade made by check-mate for Cascade archery. Basically a Hunter II but a heck of alot more compact. Sweet shooter, heck I was hammering 8 inch groups at 20 and I havent shot more than one or two arrows for over 2 years

I know your going to curl up into the fetal position crying Thomas, but I just cant do the training wheels after hunting with a recurve for so long.

Congratulations on getting back into it after your shoulder issues. Nice looking bow! I am curious what type of arrows you use? I jsut switched to carbon and so far I am zero complaints...and I have shot alot.

Welcome back!
