Hey Walksalot , This past Sat I along with several Chilliwackians attended an so called indoor shoot at the Douglas Lake Ranch north of Merritt . It is with regret I wont be able to attend the Frozen Butt shoot because mine wont be thawed out for two more weeks . It was -25c on the Coq .

Greybark, I missed this past week of cold by laying like a beached whale on the hot sands of Mexico.

John, nobody suffers like you. I trust you had an adequate time.

Won't be making it to the shoot this weekend; busier than a one-armed wallpaper hanger. But I'll be on spring break for the mid March one and am looking forward to that. Have yourself a good one this weekend.

Jack, do you mean you are giving up another opportunity to kick my ass on the 3D course?

I know, John. Opportunities like that come once - maybe twice - in a lifetime. So make sure your pruning arm can hold that bow up in March. At this point, however, I don't even know what any distances other than 18m look like, so I guess I should go for a walk in the woods.

The shoot was attended by about 70 archers and a good time was had by all, I hope.
There seemed to be more cubs on the course than in the past years and I think this is a good sign.

Fred, thanks for bringing your crossbow and giving us a chance to see what it did to the targets. It was interesting how little damamge it did to the targets and it was an interesting experience to finally shoot one.

Shucks, I heard the weather was even tolerable. I was hoping it would howl a blizzard, then I wouldn't have felt so bad about not getting there.

Glad it went well.

Jack, I am sure we will get together for a shoot or two and maybe even a beverage afterwards.
