Thumbs up

Well, a little slow off the mark here, but here's the scoop on last weekend at Summerland.

It was a great show! The folks that organized it worked their rear ends off and are greatly appreciated. Anyone who missed this must really plan to take it in next year. The facilities are good and the courses very pleasant to stroll on - topography not too hard on us old geezers.

I got to shoot with walksalot and his son; good to meet up with you. Kirby, did you make it? I didn't know who to look for and so missed seeing you if you were there.

It's also right next to the KVR steam train attraction. For those who don't shoot but like to attend, take the 2-hour or so trip. Lots of fun (did it last year).

As for the results ~cringe~ : I couldn't have hit a blue whale on the backside with a shovel. No matter - a great time was had by all. The weather on Saturday was perfect and the rain held off Sunday pretty much until we were all finished on the course. Looking forward to going there again next year.

It was a good time for sure but the first day for me was a disaster. I couldn't hit a bull in the ass with a handfull of wheat.

Had an excellent time shooting with Canuck2 and his friends from Washington and I too look foreward to next year.
