Post Whisker bisquit tips

Just a quick tip for guys shooting a whisker buisquit.

#1 Make sure the rest is square to the arrow.

#2 Coat the shafts and vanes of your target arrows with 'Armour All protectant' I use the handi wipe ones, it helps protect the vanes makes the arrows slide through the buisquit better, plus it makes the arrows easier to pull out of the foam type targets

I have been shooting the same 4 out of 5 target arrows all summer, avg about three times a week, must have about 150 to 200 shots per arrow at least so far the vanes are a bit rippled and one was starting to peel but a little vane cement fixed that, the acuracy is good so far shooting anywhere's from 10 to 50yds. I shoot the seldom used one every so often to check group consitency, so far so good, I love it .

Thanks for the tips!
My bow was set up and checked by an archery shop in Vernon. It shot perfect through paper right off the bat BUT that was by the shop owner. It could be my technique as I'm new to archery. I was getting pretty good groups in the few rounds I did get to shoot before they started peeling off.
Someone suggested using a dab of Lock-Tite Superglue one each end of the vanes.
BTW-2 vaned arrows don't shoot all that bad out to 25 yds .

bent i bye a lot of stuff from tim at the outdoor store and he will pissed if he reads this. But his arrows are the worst for the fletching coming off. Thats what he shoots is a WB he shoots it well. I am a good shot but i can not shoot with a WB i use a drop away trophy taker. My advise to you is get a fletching jig and use superglue to stick them on with i use locktite superglue gel .

try using a little dab of glue on the end of the vane.I've been shooting the same 4 arrows out of my whisker biscuit and have not had any vanes come off. When i bought my bow the shop used a little dab of glue on the end and told me it would help prevent the vanes from coming off and so far they are right.

Been away for a week.
Sealevel-It turns out they were factory fletched arrows. Tim re-fletched them for me and got me to shoot cock feather up. No more issues. The bottom vane was brushing along the metal bar at bottom of the biscuit causing it to peel off. I'm back in the saddle!
