100gr loads for 243win

I am still looking for that 'magic load' out of my Ruger MKII 243win. I have not been able to get the groups under an inch yet (at 100m). Any suggestions?

Thanks,

James

My Stevens does pretty well with H4831SC and Remington 100 g. SPCL bullets. Seems best around 1.5 gr less than max and decent speed (2900 ish)

I tried your load on the weekend (I have the same gun) and I had a 1.5" group with Sierra boat tails and a 2" group with Hornady SP's - don't have any Hornady BTSP's. I have ordered some Nosler Bal.Tips to see how they fly. The gun will shoot 55gr bullets into 3/4" groups, so I'll keep playing with different loads.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Cheers.

James
