What is the twist rate of your barrel?

I've got one based on a Sako Vixen, 1 in 14 twist rate. Had pretty good luck so far with 40gr vmax's (moly'd) over 28.9gr of Benchmark. Will usually put 3 into high 0.2", low 0.3", and always puts 5 into 0.4" Playing with seating depth should get 5 shots into 0.3" though, I would imagine.

53gr TSX's not so much, due to the twist rate, will only put 5 of them into about 1.5". Plenty accurate enough for what I want that bullet to do though anyway.

Hi Lorne,

I have built two and use mostly H335 and WW748.

From 40 gr Ballistic Tips at close to 4000fps to 75 gr A-Max at a bit more than 3000, there's a lot to like with this cartridge and powders.
