350 Rem Mag

Many years ago I sold one of these, Ruger with tang safety. Sooo finally I bought another Ruger MKII. I'm using the Hornady 200gr SP and IMR 4320, out of a 22" barrel I'm getting 2850 fps and accuracy of 7/8" for 3 shot groups at 100M. I have no high pressure signs on the brass. Overall this is not far behind my 300 WHBY with 200gr nos part. Just a great caliber.

I have to agree that the 350RM is an awesome cartridge. I too have a MKII (stainless) and it is my 'go to' gun when there is a chance at anything 'big'.

I am using 225gr Sierras with IMR4064. Accuracy is amazing and consistent no matter what time of year it is. Now, I just need to get that moose LEH.

The 35 cal I recently picked up isn't a 350RM but close and came out about five years later. 358 Norma Magnum. I was looking for this caliber in a Schultz & Larsen but when I was shown this Husqvarna 1651, I weakened.

I have some 250gr bullets to reload for it and also picked up some Barnes 225gr TSX I'm looking forward to working up loads with. Prior to getting a 358NM and in anticipation of eventually getting one, at local gun shows over the last while I lucked into seven boxes of Norma factory ammo. As well as it performs with this ammo and with the amount I have, if I get my B.C. Moose LEH in area 5 this year, I'll go with Norma factory this year.

400 fps difference @ 400 yards and half a foot bullet drop. That's getting far behind
