Smile good .243 handload

whats a good size load in .243 for hunting coyotes? is it better to use the lighter faster bullets or heavier slower bullets? out to around 400 or 450 yds. thanks

Haven't used them on dogs yet and don't have a chrony, but they shoot deadly accurate, 58grn Hornady V-MAX over 38.9grn Varget and CCI-200 primer. Shoots awesome out of my 243!

At that range, I'd want to use the heaviest, most frangible hunting bullet I could get, perhaps a 100 grain Sierra. I've had trouble with penetration on dogs at long range with varmint bullets.
