I was glad to see the hornady held it's own against the high priced boys I have used them for a lot of years now and have always been happy with the results with accuracy and performance at terminal point as well again with the price point. I will continue to use them in the future and as always put food on my table. I will say that I use them for sighting as well and then load nosler partitions in a couple of my calibres but this appears to be a mute point now. It just goes to show high dollar is not always the way to go to get the job done.

what they should of done was stick a wall of bone 4 inches into the jello, and then see how the bullets do

Moosecaller; You may have noted that they were testing the Hornady "InterBond" not the "Interlock" There is a lot of difference between those two bullets. I like the accuracy of the Interlocks, but at speeds above 3000 FPS, performace gets spotty. The Interbond with it's bonded core is a lot better, performance wise, when velocities are high. Regards, Eagleye.

Can't load my .338 wm over 3000 at any time with 250's so I'm ok. And the 7mm rm and '06 don't see the 3000 mark either so I guess I'm ok there as well. I like the heavier bullets in all the calibres I shoot so no fear of hitting the higher machs with them. I still like the sub min. groups I get with the hornadys in all the calibres I shoot.

A very interesting test, but one that only judges deer bullets(150) from a 308.I have seen other tests of heavier bullets where Accubond and Interbond flip-flop positions.I have seen in testing SSTs,that different bullet calibers and weights make a considerable difference. The 225 338 lost it's core where as the 165 308 worked slightly better than the same weight BT.
