Question Loads for 25/06 cal 100 grain TSX

So anybody use the 100 grain Boattail TSX in 25/06 and have the loads for it?
I figure to use data for standard 100 grain bullets, but thought those of you that have tried them may have the feedback on seating depth and loads that seem to work for you.

favorite load is 53 gr IMR 4350 with this bullet. I tried different seat lengths and found that the recomended 50 thou off lands was the best in my T3. It shoot consistently under 3/4 off the bench It is my #1 choice for hunting big game if there are no BIG bears in the area

what is the best way about gaugeing where the land is on these bullets and backing them off acordingly?

just grabed 50 of them for the 308. and they shot like crap the way I have them now.

ive heard they are particular about the lands alot more than other bullets anyways.

There are commercial gauges to get the lenght, but what I do is use a normal case and run it into the size die until it sizes the neck for about 1/8 inch or slightly less. This will allow the bullet to slide fairly easy but also grip enough. Then seat the bullet in that case very long. Put the case in the rifle and close the bolt....it may be a bit tight to close. Open the bolt and remove the case. This will be the length to the lands. Measure and record the overall length. Seat the bullet 50 thou deeper and adjust from there.

I pretty much use the same system, I full lenght resized then I cut 3-4 groove in the nech with a Dremel tool and it works pretty well. I tested with a commercial gauge and had a .002" difference which is negligeable I think...

Here what it looks like

Gaetoune, your method would probably be better than mine when using tsx bullets as the grooves can hang up on the short sized area with my method.Great idea!!
