Shot the new 7mm-08 today
Finally got out to the range to try out the new rifle that my wife bought for me last week.
Remington 700 XHR in 7mm-08 I scoped it with a Vortex "Viper" 3-9x40 fired 2 shots @ 25 yds to get it on paper........................cleaned it fired 3 shots @ 100 yds to see how close the scope was..............cleaned it Fired 3 shots @ 100 yds to see how it shoots. (shots # 6, 7, and 8 from a brand new rifle) I'm impressed. I think I'll keep this one!

Geez, a guy could almost kill a deer with a gun that accurate!
 Looks like ya got a keeper there - now to get the first blood on the stock!

I'm about 10 rifles behind on "getting blood on them" if I go in the order that I've gotten them.
I need to get some blood stains on the Savage model 14 American Classic that I got 2 1/2 years ago first. Then the Tikka .270, then the Stevens .243, then the Marlin lever action .44 mag, then the Rolling Block .357......... My wife buys them faster than I can I can harvest game with them. I think I'm up to 11 rifles/shotguns that she's bought for me in the last 5 years. I need to get out hunting more!
