They are good bullets and they will be more that suitable for the animals you are planning on hunting.
One thing I have noticed with the Hot Cor bullets is that once in a while you will get one that may be slightly underweight caused from very small voids - air bubbles - formed when the hot lead is poured into the jackets. These bullets are not perfectly concentric and may open up your groups slightly. It is easy enough to weigh the bullets before loading them and set aside the ones that are more than a couple of grains lighter than the majority. I use them for either fouling shots or for off-hand practice where slightly larger grouping is not an issue.

That is a beautiful cartridge! Performance wise a bit more powerful than the .35 Whelen and not too far behind the 338 Winchester Magnum.
An honest 300 yard cartridge in capable hands and perfect for moose and large bears this 115 year old cartridge holds its own with more modern rounds.
