used up brass

What do people do with worn out used up brass?

I suppose that if you had several pounds of it you could sell it at the scrap metal dealer. I would run them through a primer remover die first, as they give a lower rate for mixed metals.

The current price for LTL (less than a truck load) for old yellow brass is $1.19 per pound. Prices vary daily, and some dealers pay more than others. I have sold metals to Go Green Recycling in Vancouver. There price is pretty fair.
