fishing trip

Just returned from 8 days or so fishing..we first stopped and met Leaseman and his son Nick and went sturgeon fishing..7 to the boat 5' being the biggest..then off to Vancouver Island where we met my twin brother..one nite fishing in Nanaimo..5 fingers..nada..then off to Sooke were we nailed 5 fish and rescued a boater in a zodiac adrift..the Coast Guard came over channel 16 about a zodiac adrift and there he was adrift..so we towed him to the harbor...

Then off to uclulet..where we fished 25 miles off shore and nailed over 100 fish in just 2 days..lots and lots of decent coho...and some springs and hailibut...and oh ya dawg shark ...

The 3rd day there just Gerry went out and he did fine also..limit.. we saw grey whales and sea lions and dolphins..

The new Silver Streak boat is awesome and safe..

Then one evening I snuck through the thick thick thick brush and busted a Island blacktail in his bed..got some photos...

Then back to Langly and met up with Leaseman and his Dad..and got some more sturgeon and then the next day met up with Joe from Alberta and got another stureon and then back home...

Thank you Mike for your generous offer and successful dino trip(s) I ALWAYS ENJOY our trips..and its NOT the catching its the "fishing" and laughing our asses off...

And we realize after getting up at 2:15 am for work everymorning just to sell and lease more trucks than Ford..HINT you could get up at noon and STILL outsell Fraud... and STILL spend so many hours with us...THANKS MIKE..

Offer still stands if BOB wants to adopt me???

Let me know If you ever try those sausages or smokies or they end up as sturgeon bait..

Well buddy, you made an impression....so I gues I have a "slightly older, not as good looking" brother now..... ...welcome to the disfunctional family.....

As far as smokies and sausages go, I am waiting until the house is empty, lights are out, then I will sneak into the garage and rescue a pack of...ummm ...smokies first and "release them" to my belly...

TTFN....

Only 100 fish Steve!! Thats it! Sounds like you had a great vacation. I just got back from Christina lake today. Caught Rainbows and Bass down there and then fished the Columbia for more Rainbows yesterday.
Hey did you get a hunting draw report from Alberta yet?

No i think the Bighorn will take awhile Bud but your Antelope and Mulie are increasing in priority.I imagine next year you would have enough priority to add Mulie to your Whitetail hunt.Antelope will probably be 3 more years.
I am taking another BC guy from Trail out for Antelope possibly next year or the year after.

Aha you catch on fast Grasshopper Rupp. We were just boosting your priorities for Future hunts where we will both be drawn or 4 of us will be drawn.
The Sept 5th tags come in handy as well, but you have to know what you want and when. the Non resident sheep i have never checked into but i will look into that.
Hey their fueling up the plane for that Fly In Caribou/Goat. Do me a favour and shoot a Booner a little bigger than Andy would ya..

I have it on reliable info that there are a GOOD amount of goats where we are going but the sheep may be very very difficult to find IF at all...oh well the plane IS ready for our trip all gear and tags and food is set away and truck will get fueled in am..as well last trip to gun range...and we leave sat am..

Yes please let me know what last minute tags may come available....

This sheep/goat hunt will be a challenge in I have PROMISED Tim I will not let on where we are going to anyone..so....its to "secret squirril LAKE or maybe its NOt a lake..
