Icuta (Rum Cache) or Lucas Lake

Heard these lakes are pretty good for big trout and a good supply. Anyone got first hand knowledge of them?

Cicuta does not produce the big rainbows like it did in the past. Its a good fishery but the average is now closer to 1.5 - 2 lbs.

No idea what Lucas is producing these days as far as size goes.

Quite a few years since I was into Lucas, but at that time there were lots of fish but all clones of 1.5-2 lbs. Never had any luck w/ flies but using gear was very productive. Access @ that time was very limited, don't know how it is now.

Caught a few rainbows pushing 10lbs in Rum Cache, and one a little over...those were back in the mid '90's though...used to be no problem to catch 15-20 good fish in a day (3-7lbs)!

She's not what it used to be...they're all pan sized now!
