Last summer's Sturgeon trips!

Going through some pictures and found a few from a couple trips I took out last summer! First group was a bunch of buddies and our father's day sturgeon excursion. We hooked eighteen sturgeon and landed most of them, I think The last picture is one my wife's Grampa from Idaho landed. Poor bugger was sore for a few days after that fight

I haven't figured out where yet. I have family in the Vancover area I might have to go visit guess I'll have to play it by ear. Definatly going to need an experienced guide for it though.

Hey mountainman, you can come with me!

You want to catch a sturgeon mountainman? I ain't no professional guide but if you want to go and hook some of these buggers you PM me and we will figure out the legalities to get your licences and we will do it! I got a few friends in the Kamloops DFO office and the MOE office I can ask. ndnhunter

Well I got friends and family in Kamloops too. Is there a special licence needed for sturgeon or just a B.C. fishing licence?
I expect you are located somewhere around kamloops?
It's only 8hrs to Kamloops and 12 or so to Van might be an idea. how are the rivers to run around there? Man I wish it was summer right now.
Maybe talk srupp into joining me for a trip too
