Perch Fishing

Are any to be had in the LML? Are they considered a game fish or not?

There are no perch, walleye or pike in the Lower Mainland. I grew up in Saskatchewan fishing for perch, they sure tast good.

The good news is the fishing in the LM can be quite good for salmon, steelhead, sturgeon and trout. This year is also a pink salmon year so there will be 10M or so pinks going up the Fraser in the fall. You can catch them with your pike gear, tossing pink spoons at high/slack tide.

Let me know what you have in terms of fishing equipment and I can give you a few good place to fish in the LM.
