i went Sturgeon fishing with a buddy after Easter dinner, I caught the one and my buddy caught two. His biggest was 6ft

Gotta love sturgies. Too bad the oolies have disapearred, this used to be a great time to dip for oolies and get the first big fish of the year.

Still are lots of fun! We try and make it out at least one day a week from March to November.......

Got out last night for Sturgeon around Maple Ridge. Did pretty well, put about 8 fish to the beach in three hours for three rods. Nothing real big, biggest was a little over 4'. The fish sure are snakes this time of year but this fella pulled hard and peeled a lot of line.

Beautiful night to be out fishing and drinking a few beers. Spring is finally here.
