when is it "too late for sturgeon fishing " this fall???

Wish I could go. My plane lands on the 14th in Vancouver in the am but I think the wife will get a little upset if I delayed my departure by a day or two to do some sturgeon fishing

but then again if you are wanting to catch something..... well lets just say that the end of this month usually winds it down for me.........
