Sturgeon on The Fraser

Well was a good week with about 10-12 sturgeon to the boat. The biggest being about 6ft the evening I went with Leaseman and srupp of course the only camera we had was Mikes phone and I'm not to sure how the pic turned out. Sure am jealous of the winch Mikes got on that beauty boat of his.
The biggest fish I got to my boat was about 4ft.
A big thanks goes out to Mike for all his help guiding me to certain spots

Here are a few pics of the sturgeon and one of Steven with his new rod and fishing buddy

Once again a big thanks out to Steven and Mike for everything making my trip a success!!

Joe....

Glad to hear you had a good trip! Unfortunately I had to fly to Wpg unexpectedly and then to Toronto for work. I ended up stopping in Wpg again for a couple of days on the way home to see my mother as she was in a car accident.

Sorry I was unable to connect with you down here, but looks like you had a good time with Steven.

Did you make it out in the salt at all?

Scott

Made it out on the salt for one day and got skunked for salmon. Caught a couple bottom fish with the kids.
Ended up buying some down riggers for the boat.

^^ re downriggers...You didn't happen to buy those two electrics on ebay? They were in Burnaby. If per chance you did, is one for sale?

On topic..I would love to try sturgeon fishing, one of these days I will get out there..Right now, just gearing up for the Chinook run in Aug up here.

Nope didn't get the ones off ebay! Didn't even think to check it out. Picked up 2 strong arm in Abbotsford.
Good luck with the springs wish I could join you.
