tagging sturgeon ???=tag champ ??? just a guess..only fished sturgeon 600 x.....once on the river and 599 nites reliving that adventure...

I cant even imagine anyone that knew the fish , places and "how to " as well as Thomas...and his boat was wicked

And Mike knows these dinasauers very well also....

Cool

I agree, Thomas knows sturgeon , but so do tonnes of guy's including myself! I've landed two fish bigger than the one posted but but have never had anyone plug it for me on any site! I may be wrong about the post but it just seemed funny?

I still want to know what a tag champ is? I've been tagging sturgeon for the FRSCS since 1998 when it started with 9 of us! I think there are around 30 "champs" out there now!

Eric I used to fish sturgeon, now I just play with the boats that try to catch them . Every one wants to call themselves sturgeon heros but there are a few who really know what they are doing , you are one of them, you guys fish a lot. a monster fish could be the next drop, or that next pick up.

I never saw that pick of the deer in your avatar care to share??? t

There will always be the river trolls out there trying to toot there own horn

Are you gonna shoot the indoor????

Streamline I think its time you get your facts right, wades fish was just a hair over 10 ft not 11+
not only that he won the CHILLIWACK RIVER BOXING DAY derby, the chehalis has never had a derby,

there has been a lot larger fish than Olys. just cause we all dont blow our own horns loud enough.
Alot of us are or were involved in the tagging program, and not everyone can just get a free tagging kit. I turned mine in because I could not catch enough fish to warrant it or spend enough time on the water.

when I was guiding it was great to have but leave the tagging kits in the hands of the guides that use them and follow through with tagging properly.

I don't have a problem with anyone saying something like: "I had a great fishing / hunting trip with XYZ company." That is good info to pass along.

However ............ When someone signs up for the sole purpose of pushing a particular product or guide then I will object.
