Walleye fishin

How far or how many hours driving from Surrey/LML to catch walleye or pickeral as us prairie boys like to call them. Whatever is closest.

Ohh I am thinking there is a long drive, either up to northern BC or back to Alberta so approx 12hrs from Surrey if I am not mistaken.

I have heard there is walleye in the rivers by grandforks and trail . granby river and a few lakes down there.

I just checked it out on mapquest and from Surrey to Trail is 375 miles and 7 1/2 hours. So that's not terribly bad for a 2 or 3 day trip.

The Lower Columbia is probably the best walleye fishery closest to Vancouver.
