Hey I'm new to the Chilliwack hunting area, and was wondering if anyone had any info on the depot creek hunting area, (2-3) for blacktail?? I have seached the net for some info, not much luck... so i figured I would turn to you guys and gals
any tips, gps marks, or anything that would help put some deer on the table this fall ( the frezzer is getting low ) thx

I wouldn't bother driving all the way into depot creek. Foley lake is an hour less driving each way so two hours extra to hunt in a day trip...

As Steady said, the extra drive is not worth the time, just as many dirtbikes and quads out around depot and paleface as there are anywhere else. I hunt up the valley quite a bit and see plenty of deer both up foley and tamahi. If you don't mind bushwackin there are lots of deer to be found but you really do need to get away from the roads to have a chance to see them. Do yourself a favour and pick up a bear tag as well, lots of bruins out there
