Ya pretty easy to shoot a wonderful deer like that when he has NO LEGS ...couldnt you have picked a far less vulnerable animal and made it somewhat sporting???..

Great whitie..one of my favorite game animals..and love coming to Alberta every 2 years to go shoot one...

WELL DONE!

cheers

Steven

Deer don't need legs in Alberta, as they just stand in the middle of the fields eating all the time. How would they ever get so fat if they had to move around all the time.

I love Alberta whitetail chops marinated in Kraft Italian salad dressing, and then thrown on the BBQ.mmmm, mmmm

Nice looking animals~

Nice stocky flagtail there!

What cartridge is the Number 1 chambered for?

The #1 is a .375 H&H and I've been useing Accubond 260 gr. This deer was hit low in the chest and exited out the side just behind the left leg. I doubt that there was a pound of meat lost.
