August 20 2010 Smoke update
MODIS overlay on Google Earth August 19th, 2010
Smoke plumes from the Meldrum Complex fires can be seen through the smoke to the South-West of McLeese Lake. The Bull Complex fires near Alexis Creek are just to the West of the Meldrum fires. The very noticeable plumes to the North-West of McLeese Lake are from The Pelican Complex of fires.

heck don't have to look at the image... I just hav eto look outside.. was real bad here yesterday... still a fair bit in the air today.

The smoke sure is awfully thick. Smoke and fire will likely delay plans for a Sept. 1 deer hunt and California ram scouting trip on the mighty Fraser. I hope everyone is safe. pm me if any evacuees will need a place to stay or park a trailer.
