Bake a grouse

Finally got out a bit this year -- still limited to hunting from the truck and molesting the grouse popuation big time.

I came up with an idea on how to cook them decently with just a campfire. I made my own oven out of a large METAL coffee can by putting about two inches of pebbles in the bottom and sticking it in the campfire. A small warning is that the pebbles will "EXPLODE" when first heated so let it heat up for a while till they finish. Wrap the grouse breast in tin foil and put in for 10 to 15 mins maybe tuning over once and presto perfectly cooked grouse.

enjoy
Al
