cinamon colored black bear
hey guys,i was wondering is cinamon color temperory on some black bears or thats perminant?,,,cuz i've been seeing these color only on spring time!!!

I've seen them in the fall.....so I guess it permanent!!

The actual intensity of the colours may vary from season to season but do not actually change. A red or blonde bear will not turn black or vise-versa.

On the may long weekend I saw one of the most amazing black bears I have ever seen. He had a coat that looked like a golden retreiver. Absolutely gorgeous blonde bear. I chased after him with the rifle but I took too long getting the gun out of the back seat. I chased him across the river and he was gone up the bank in no time. Too bad. Although I know where he is hanging out, I may get another chance at him.

I have one that I shot in the fall...He's on the wall beside me, and he's still brown...LOL
