Post Heads up on the BC LEH applications.

PLEASE NOTE APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2011/2012 LIMITED ENTRY FALL DRAW

Question

Got cards last night finally, had to go to Searun to get them, then sent them express post, to get them there in one business day.

Only put one in for deer, and one in for moose.

Crap! You mean to say that all the LEH for 2011 is a done deal already?

Sheesh.. go away for awhile and look what happens..Usually the LEH regs aren't even out till now..

With my luck the last eight or more years, it probably wouldn't have mad a difference anyway..

There's a surefire way to get to hunt every year. It's called General Open Season.

This LEH thing should be used as it was intended (and as POLICY says it should be used), as a last ditch effort to maintain a limited hunt where there's a conservation concern. Unfortunately, that isn't the case in the vast majority of draws.

GOABC wants to put practically everything on LEH. BCWF wants to take everything off LEH where there is no conservation concern. Write to your MLA and Steve Thomson.
