I have loaded the 45 calibre FTX in my 45-70 where they were quite accurate. If sighted in 3" high at 100 yards they are only 5-6 inches low at 200. I was playing around on the 300 yard gong and was able to ring it more often than not by holding 30 or so inches over.
I bought some of the 160 grain FTX last summer to try in a 30-30 but have yet to get out to the range with them. I did find the 325 grain 45 calibre bullets to be very soft when compared to the 350 gr Hornady SP. I shot a beef last winter with one from about 20 feet and found that the bullet only penetrated about 3 or 4 inches into the skull with nothing but bits and pieces of lead and jacket left of the bullet. While this may be perfect for long-distance shots on deer I would not use them on large bears or moose.
