Arrow New Number - Report Poachers & Polluters in BC

Here's a new phone number that has been set up for the CO Service for us to report all poachers and polluters...write it down and put it in your truck!

1-877-952-7277

Thanks to our local CO Ed Seitz for giving me his pen with the number on it to post here...we were all at the Central Okanagan meeting with the biologists last night.

Stuck to the top of the forum.

Truth is we best start rattin on ourselves. While we all want to catch a big bad company polluting a river, we clean paint brushes under the tap, pour drain-o down the sink, use round-up on the lawn, wash our dirty car into the storm drain, and look for someone else to point a finger at.

the truth hurts

And on cold winter days, its the DFO and Min of Environment who leave their trucks idling outside the coffee shop.

You mentioned about the Central Okanagan meeting with the biologists... How do you know when and where these meetings are? I am also interested in learning more about their work.
Thanks,
Geo

Not sure if this is relevant considering this is mostly a BC/Alberta site but this is the number for TIP in Manitoba.

Tip Line
Turn in Poachers — Report Forest Fires
1-800-782-0076

I have seen some things while hunting that almost makes my blood boil. Part of me has been considering becoming a hunter safety instructor but education will only do so much in the fight against illegal hunting. There has to be an enforcement component to it as well and reporting those who abuse their hunting priviledges is an important part of enforcement.
