Region 7A moose?

A buddy has more confidence in my geographic knowledge than I do. I only know a tiny portion of 7-11- He asked me this:

'Can you recommend for any lakes in Region 7A (Prince George) for the spike fork/calf season in the third week of October where we plan to use canoes to locate moose – lakes not too large and dangerous, but not uselessly small, or an area where there are a number of such lakes?'

Bobtail Lake, Norman Lake, a few other smaller ones in the area of those. Lots of good off the grid camping spots, many with hanging poles already there. If its warm out head for Norman Lake area as its higher and cooler, hence more productive during those times. Lots of slashes and roads all through there, hunted it for 25 years but moved so will be finding another spot closer to home, maybe south of McBride for me now.
