Question Speed issues

Has anyone else had problems with this forum being very slow to load?

At home, or in the office in Williams Lake the forum is almost unusable for me. It takes forever to load and I usually just get pissed off and go somewhere else. It is not an internet speed issue as we are on Wi-Fi at home and my office in WL is fibre-optic. Both services are on the Telus backbone.

Where it gets interesting is that right now I am having lunch in our Quesnel office - internet via Shaw - and the load speed for this forum is blinding fast. I had noticed this before and was wondering if anyone else was having issues.

If you could respond with how your speed is and who provides your internet service I would appreciate it.

We are hooked into Shaw and have no trouble ,,just as fast as all the other sites.

I have just discovered that if I come in through a proxy server - publicwebproxy - in my case the speed issues disappear and the forum is usable.

Anyone using Telus - or a provider using the Telus backbone - who is having speed issues should try connecting through a proxy.
