stone sheep hunt

Well its that time of the year again... stone sheep hunting..I have 2 others joining the adventure in the mountains. Food has been bought and packed, all equipment has been tested and tried..with some GREAT new equipment purchased..ammo has been tested and custom made by BOO and so it looks like only a few days waiting and we are off for 12 days..

I have seen stone sheep every year, just not the caliber of ram I want to harvest so successful trips have ended with no harvest hopefully with 3 sets of eyes things will end with a BANG x 3...

Thanks for the encouragement, suggestions, help, knowlege and experience both on site and through PM'S..its is truly appreciated from the heart.

We will take some photos and report back once we are home ..

Agin THANK YOU one and all..

cHEERS

steven

Elmer this is the year, just wish i was available to Sherpa and film for ya'all.
I have to vouch for your equipment,it is all top of the line Swarovski,Leica,leupold....stuff that maybe in 20 years i may be able to afford . Your spot device will keep Susan in contact where your at and should anything go wrong help will arrive.
Take lots of Scenery pics as well, last years were calendar eligible ! The picture of you 3 with 38" plus Rams will look good in your trophy room.
I'm rooting for ya Bro just take regular breaks so those knees hold up for the climb up to your Ram and the pack out.

Good luck Steve. I have a month to wait still. And I need to rely on the weather as well.

Can not wait to see what you bring home.

IF you guys are headed up Tatsanshini or Alset river....be careful with that glacier that is threatening to block the Alset river.

Good luck and straight shooting.

Steven

Looks like you have a dream season planned.....unbelievable. Looking forward to seeing pictures when you accomplish each stage of your fall hunts. Also, looking forward to seeing you here in Alberta in November.....Springer can't wait to get you here and can't wait to video your bear hunt in October......he's like a kid at Christmas time.

Good luck on your stone sheep hunt, stay safe and have the time of your lives........Marco

Hope the recommendations for the salting works for you. You'll do a good job caping which will help. Our studio should be getting our third sheep in for the year (good start for us) tonight.....if you are successful....we would love to do up some great mounts for all of you. Good luck regardless and have fun.
Marco
